Blue River is a riverside community just south of town with a population of about 850 people. The community sits at more than 10,000 feet above sea level and is near Quandary Peak and the river headwaters. Blue River has several luxury homes that command premium prices.

Copper Mountain is a Census-designated community west of Breckenridge and accessible from Exit 195 on I-70. It comprises three base villages, each with its own exceptional shopping and restaurants. Best known for its awesome skiing, the resort is a haven for summer festivals and events. There are affordable condos and townhomes at the base villages that offer prime access to the lifts.

The "Main Street of the Rockies," Frisco has a fantastic downtown that's surrounded by mountain beauty and things to do. Conveniently located on I-70, Frisco isn't far from all four of the county's ski resorts. Keystone has a more stylish feel. The glitzy resort's River Run Village at the base of the slopes serves as the center of activity.
