With more than 2,465 skiable acres, Copper Mountain real estate offers the largest ski area in Summit County. Most of the homes for sale at Copper Mountain is within walking distance to the slopes. There are a variety of homes for sale and condos for sale at the self-contained community known for its well-planned ski terrain and a wide array of trails. Ski condos in all shapes and sizes are not far from the lifts, and there are larger private homes with ski-in, ski-out accessibility or a little further from the slopes.

Copper Mountain real estate offers a great place to live for those who enjoy endless skiing and a laid-back vibe. The resort is made up of three separate ski villages - East Village, Village at Copper (or Center Village), and West Village - so there's plenty of room to move around. Ski condos with two or three bedrooms are the most common residences, especially at the Village at Copper. Condominiums and townhomes here are exceptionally affordable considering their proximity to the slopes. Most condos with three or fewer bedrooms sell for under $1 million, with many going for less than $700,000.

Another attractive real estate opportunity at Copper Mountain are larger private homes and townhouses. There are upscale luxury homes scattered around the three base areas - some with ski-in/ski-out accessibility. Mountainside luxury homes at Copper Mountain can be purchased for considerably less than other resorts like Vail. Copper Mountain homes with five or more bedrooms are often available for $1 million to $3 million.

Copper Mountain's unique design effortlessly separates skiers and snowboarders by their skill levels. Beginner trails are at West Village and the skiing gets more difficult as you move east. The backside presents the most challenging runs, with double blacks on Tucker Mountain to the far south.

Copper Mountain is located just off Interstate 70 at Exit 195 (Colorado Highway 91), about 75 miles west of Denver. The closest town is Frisco, about 8 miles from the base areas. Copper Mountain is less than 30 minutes drive from Breckenridge and Vail.

A four-season resort, Copper Mountain has lots of activities during the summer and winter months to keep residents and visitors entertained. The pedestrian-only Village at Copper has fantastic restaurants and shopping and acts as a hub for community gatherings like a free outdoor concert or a picture-perfect fireworks display. The Pete Dye-designed Copper Creek Golf Course gives golfers a stunning backdrop for a memorable 18 holes.

Neighborhood Highlights

• The gated community of Lewis Ranch on the west side of the resort has beautiful south-facing luxury private homes with spectacular views of the ski slope, ski-in/ski-out accessibility and unparalleled privacy.

• On the east side of the resort, a new community - Born Mountain Club - has many open lots available for purchase to build the home of your dreams. The private community is at the base of the legendary A-Lift.

• Copper Mountain is home to the U.S. Ski Team Speed Center, a training facility for the U.S. Ski Team. Woodward, an indoor ski and snowboard training facility at the base area, is open to athletes of all ages and offers several tools - like boxes, rails and a foam pit - to hone your skills on the mountain.
