Established in Vail in 1971, Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Colorado Properties is owned and managed by Michael Slevin. Michael has worked for the company since 1996. He was a selling broker for the company prior to working into a variety of marketing and management positions. He has served on the Vail Board of REALTORS® Board of Directors, their MLS Committee and honored as REALTOR® of the Year in 2021. Michael is a graduate of the University of Colorado’s Business School (Business and Real Estate).
Michael’s vision for the company and passion for the real estate industry help ensure not only his success but adds to the success of others. The company has been on an upward positive growth scale from the beginning days with his dad and continues to flourish. He plays a daily role in contract negotiations to help our Colorado real estate transactions go more smoothly. The bottom line for him is getting the deal to the closing table and putting great efforts towards all parties being happy. Education is also an important part of the process to help ensure our real estate brokers are always learning and growing in the process. He provides great sales meeting content and hires inspirational speakers to support the growth of every agent in the company.
John Slevin serves as the company’s founder and past owner/president. John is a past President of the Vail Board of REALTORS®, served as chairman of the Professional Standards Committee of the Vail Board of REALTORS®, was honored as REALTOR® of the Year in 1991, and served three years as a Town of Vail Councilman and Vail’s Mayor Pro-Tem. He has served on the Board of Directors and as a Vice President of The Chamber of Commerce.
