Keystone is an unincorporated community in Summit County that's world-renowned for its incredible snow skiing. The community has fewer than 1,100 residents according to Census numbers, which includes Keystone Resort and Keystone Village. Many of the homes for sale in the area are not far from Colorado State Highway 6. Keystone Resort on the east side of the community has condos for sale near the ski lifts. Further west, the Summit Cove neighborhood has real estate for sale with large lots with easy access to Keystone Nordic Center and Keystone Ranch Golf Course.

Centrally located in Summit County, Keystone is about a 10-minute drive to Arapahoe Basin and 20 minutes to Copper Mountain and Breckenridge. Dillon and Silverthorne are northwest of Keystone on Highway 6, just around the beautiful Dillon Reservoir and near Interstate 70. Silverthorne is the commercial core of Summit County and has the largest selection of retailers, outlet shops, restaurants, and big-box stores. Keystone offers a few local restaurants sprinkled around the community, including upscale dining at the ski resort and village.

Neighborhood Highlights

• The core area around the base is called Mountain House and offers a nice selection of condos with ski-in, ski-out access.

• West Keystone is primarily multi-level condos and townhouses, with most of the lodging along Soda Ridge Road and Wild Irishman Road. Further west, Keystone Ranch has sizable single-family residences surrounded by two golf courses and a multitude of trails.

• Keystone is the only ski resort in Summit County with night skiing. Night skiing at the River Run base area is available during Friday and Saturday nights in January and February and during select holidays, including the week from Christmas to New Year's.

• Keystone Lake is a wonderful spot for paddleboarding during the summer. In the winter, the lake freezes and is transformed into a picture-perfect outdoor ice-skating rink.
