In a recent article in the Vail Daily newspaper, Land Title reported that the Vail Valley real estate market "continues to gradually gather strength" and properties are spending less time on the market. Additionally, Michael Slevin, the owner/broker of Berkshire Hathaway Colorado Properties was quoted as stating that
"Overall, the trend is quite positive....adding that the increase in average sales prices is another positive indicator in the market".
Through the first half of 2014 the brokers at Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Colorado Properties have outperformed the market generating more listings, contracts and sales relative to the reported numbers in the Vail MLS. The dedicated work by our brokers, acquisition of fine listings and an active and engaged market all contributed to the first-half success.
