Andy Gould moved to the Vail Valley in 1983 and worked at Beaver Creek when it was in its infancy. The Beaver Creek Ski School had 34 staff members at the time. There are over 980 today. 34 years later, he is still a trainer and instructor for Vail/Beaver Creek Ski School. After a stint as a Professional Lifeguard in Stone Harbor, NJ, he attended The Pennsylvania State University in the summer and fall and took winters off to work for Vail Resorts as a ski instructor, trainer and supervisor. After graduation, he worked for the Miller Brewing Company as The National Ski Marketing Consultant, which eventually led to running 5 states in the East Coast for Labatts, USA as a District Manager. The love for the mountains brought him back again, full time, in 1995 and although he worked part time for Vail Resorts during the Corporate Years, he knew that Vail was where he wanted to work and live on a full time basis.
A licensed broker for over 15 years, Andy is passionate about sharing his knowledge of the valley and matching it with the clients needs. He has watched the valley grow from a national ski destination to an internationally known four season resort.
"I was lucky enough to meet and experience many of the original Vail pioneers in the early eighties and see how their spirit lives on in this valley and makes it such a great place to live."
